Bhubaneswar: Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has been conferred with the prestigious Smart Port Award 2026 in recognition of its operational efficiency and technology-driven development.
The award was presented at the Smart Logistics Conference and Awards 2026 held in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
Officials said the award recognises the port’s adoption of smart technology, innovation, operational efficiency and future-ready port development.
The event was organised by Maritime Gateway in collaboration with the government of Odisha.
The award was conferred in recognition of Paradip Port Authority’s commitment to smart technology, innovation, efficiency and future-ready port development. “Another proud milestone in Paradip Port Authority’s journey towards a smarter, stronger and future-ready maritime India,” PPA said in a post on X.
Additional Chief Secretary of Odisha’s Industries department, Hemant Sharma presented the port-led industrial and logistics opportunity in the state.
The session highlighted Odisha’s emerging maritime-industrial corridor and the potential to strengthen multimodal connectivity, cargo movement and logistics infrastructure across the state.
