Bhubaneswar: One person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries after a speeding car rammed into a motorcycle in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the mishap took place when the car allegedly hit the motorcycle with great force late on Friday night, killing the rider dead on the spot.

Two others sustained grievous injuries in the crash. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition was stated to be critical.
After receiving information, a police team visited the spot and took steps to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on the road. The damaged vehicles have been seized for investigation.
Police have launched a probe to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
