Raju Srivastava Put On Ventilator Again: Report
New Delhi: Raju Srivastava has been put on ventilator support again.
The comedian, who has been undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi after suffering cardiac arrest while working out in the gym on August 10, had regained consciousness after being on ventilator for 15 days.
But a week after regaining consciousness, Srivastava had to be put on ventilator again as he developed high fever, reported India Today.
He is reported to be conscious, and there is movement in his hands and feet, according to Raju’s PRO Garvit Narang.
There was no update from his family members.
His wife Shikha Srivastava had earlier urged people not to spread negativity after news of Raju being brain dead was doing the rounds.
The condition of Raju — who has been a part of popular comedy shows The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus and The Kapil Sharma Show among others – has fluctuated over the past three weeks.
