Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has assigned new responsibilities to two senior IPS officers.
According to a notification issued by the Home department, 2009-batch IPS officer Akhileshwar Singh has been given additional responsibility as DIG of South Western Range.

Akhileswar Singh, who is now posted as DIG in the Special Intelligence Wing (SIW), has got the additional responsibility in the SW Range.
Similarly, 2010-batch IPD officer Kanwar Vishal Singh, now posted as DIG, SW Range, has been appointed as DIG in the Special Task Force (STF).
