Jeypore: Sadar police here on Thursday foiled a dacoity bid with the arrest six persons at Baraniput in Jeypore district.
A sword, one knife and several other weapons were seized from them. They have been forwarded to court.
Meanwhile in Bhubaneswar, Chandrasekharpur police arrested Promise Swain from Pipili for his alleged involved in cellphone thefts. A total of 42 expensive stolen mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
