Students Of ITER In Bhubaneswar Submit Ideas During Start-up Odisha Yatra 2.0 Visit
Bhubaneswar: The students of Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) in Bhubaneswar submitted their ideas during the visit of Start-up Odisha Yatra 2.0 to their campus.
As the Start-up Odisha Yatra 2.0 van rolled into the campus of ITER, SOA’s faculty of engineering and technology, students from different branches pitched their ideas which were accepted. Ravi Pandey and Asha Mohapatra explained the objectives of the initiative that was launched by chief minister Naveen Patnaik on August 26.
The students participated in the campaign with enthusiasm. The objective of the initiative was to look for best entrepreneurial ideas from young minds.
The Start-up Odisha Yatra 2.0 will go to all 30 districts of the state in 60 days visiting 100 institutions and collect 5,000 ideas from aspiring entrepreneurs so that they could be extended support from Start-up Odisha. So far, 1,300 start-ups have been registered by students in the state of which 40% were women.
The start-up yatra van was welcomed into the ITER campus by its Dean Prof PK Sahu, Additional Dean (Research) Prof Priyabrata Patnaik and professors from different departments. The programme was coordinated by Dr Satish Kumar Samal and Ashok Kumar Nayak.
