Baripada: Two persons were killed after being hit by lightning at Nishitpur Balighata under Badasahi block in Odisha’s Baripada on Saturday.
According to sources, the incident took place when the driver and helper of a tractor were loading sand in a tractor.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Both the deceased are the residents of Belapala village.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
