Cuttack: In a tragic incident, two minor sisters drowned in a pond while taking bath at Krushnachandrapur village of Narsinghpur block in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Saturday.
The deceased siblings have been identified as Srabani Sahoo and Jyotirmayee. They belong to Krushnachandrapur village.

According to sources, the mishap took place when the sisters duo had gone to the pond to take bath. Accidentally they slipped into the water body and drowned.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and retrieved the bodies.
