Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited AIIMS Bhubaneswar to check on the health of Assembly Speaker, Surama Padhy, who has been admitted to the hospital due to sudden illness.
In a post on X, Majhi wrote: I visited Honourable Speaker Mrs Surama Padhy, who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, and enquired about her health condition. I pray to Lord Jagannath for her speedy recovery and good health.
ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ଥିତ ଏମ୍ସ (AIIMS)ରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସିତ ହେଉଥିବା ମାନ୍ୟବର ବାଚସ୍ପତି ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ସୁରମା ପାଢ଼ୀଙ୍କୁ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ କରି ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟାବସ୍ଥା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ପଚାରି ବୁଝିଲି।

The ongoing Monsoon Session of the Odisha Assembly commenced on September 22 and is scheduled to run until October 3.
However, following Padhy’s sudden hospitalization, the CM personally rushed to the medical institution to inquire about her health condition from the attending doctors and wished her a speedy and complete recovery.
