Chennai: Actor Suriya has sparked fresh speculation after a cryptic remark “The time has come” went viral on social media.

At a district executive meeting of the All India Suriya Chief Charitable Trust held in Chennai, one of the organisers apparently told supporters, “The time has come. God has decided. No one can stop him from becoming a people’s leader. Are you ready to work for Suriya? If you are ready, actor Suriya will soon become a people’s leader. No one can stop it.”
The remarks were met with loud applause at the gathering, quickly sparking speculation about whether they signalled Suriya’s possible entry into politics.
