Mumbai: Alanna Panday, sister of Bollywood actor Ahaan Panday, recently announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Ivor McCray.
She has now shared a YouTube vlog capturing her family and friends’ reactions to the pregnancy news, with Ahaan’s amusing response stealing the spotlight.
In the vlog, Alanna welcomes her mother, Deanne Panday, and Ahaan to her home to meet her and her son, River. She then hands them a photo frame featuring the baby’s sonogram, with “coming soon” written on it.
However, they initially fail to notice the announcement as they are busy showering affection on River.
When Alanna finally asks them to look at the frame, Deanne appears visibly surprised and delighted before showing the sonogram to Ahaan.
“One more baby?” Ahaan reacts.
Alanna then draws their attention to River’s T-shirt, which carries the message, “Big brother always better.”
Ahaan adds, “I somehow asked Mom, ‘Is Alanna having another baby?’ Dude, you’re just popping out babies.”
Later, Alanna gathered her family and friends to share the pregnancy news with them.
When she revealed it to Ananya Panday, the actor responded, “I knew it. I asked her the other day, ‘Are you pregnant?’ And she said, ‘Oh, are you calling me fat?’ But I knew it.”
Deanne also advised Alanna against carrying River during her pregnancy. Recalling her own experience, she said that carrying Alanna while she was pregnant with Ahaan had resulted in a premature delivery.
Meanwhile, Ahaan’s playful reaction to the pregnancy news amused fans, with many praising the siblings’ close and fun-filled bond.
