Keonjhar: A three-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Rengalabeda Munda Sahi under Telkoi police limits in Keonjhar district on Saturday.
According to sources, the incident took place when the boy, son of one Makuru Munda, was playing near the pond. He slipped into the waterbody and became unconscious.
The locals fished the boy out and took him to the Telkoi community health centre, but doctors declared him dead there.
