There are exclusive workstations for the L&D team at the centre. Lounge and library facility will be added soon.

The centre was jointly inaugurated by AM/NS India leadership, including Amit Harlalka, Director & Vice-President (Finance) and Ashutosh Telang, Director & Vice-President (Human Resources & Administration) in the presence of Alok Kumar Mehta, Director (Mining and Strategic Projects), K.A. All departmental HODs, along with employees from various departments, participated in the event.

The inauguration was followed by a rewards and recognition ceremony, where employees were honoured for their contributions to workplace excellence by the AM/NS India leadership team.

Awards were given in various categories such as Commitment to Safety Leadership, Safety Culture Building, Process and Project Improvements, Innovation, High Performance and Value Creation, Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration, Problem Diffusion, Conflict Resolution, and Adaptable Problem Solving.

“Learning, collaboration, and excellence are the drivers of growth. While the company provides the platform for learning, the responsibility rests with each individual. The Learning & Development Centre represents AM/NS India’s commitment to investing in employee development and continuous improvement,” said Telang.

“Learning is the foundation of progress. We have identified training needs, strengthened leadership engagements, held synergy meets, and developed subject matter experts within the organisation through train‑the‑trainer programmes. With consecutive awards in learning, the Odisha Asset stands as a benchmark of collaborative learning and organisational advancement,” Dr Dash remarked.
