Biju Babu @105: Greetings Flood Social Media

Bhubaneswar: Tributes poured in on the 105th birth anniversary of Biju Patnaik, former Chief Minister of Odisha, from across the globe.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, leaders and state officials, remembered Biju Babu’s achievements on social media platform.

Remembering him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Tributes to Biju Babu on his birth anniversary. His futuristic vision for India, emphasis on human empowerment as well as social justice inspires us all. The nation is proud of his efforts for Odisha’s progress.”

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted, “Humble tributes to the visionary leader, great statesman, freedom fighter and the architect of modern #Odisha, #BijuBabu on his birth anniversary. He always dreamt of an empowered and prosperous #Odisha and will continue to be a guiding force for all of us.”

Besides, paying tribute to his father, Naveen said, “Biju Babu was working for the state to return the past achievements of Odisha. His aim was service to mankind and make Odisha proud. The Biju Janata Dal has also followed his aim.”

He urged people to follow in his footprints to make the state empowered and prosperous.
