Coal-Laden Truck Catches Fire In Odisha’s Paradip
Paradip: A coal-laden truck went up in flames near Bhutamundai bridge on NH 5 in Odisha’s Paradip in the early hours of Monday.
The truck caught fire when on its way to Chandikhol from Paradip around 4 am, sources said, adding that the cabin of the track was completely destroyed in the fire.
On being informed, firefighters from Kujang doused the flames.
While the reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained, a short circuit could have caused the fire. The driver and helper reportedly fled the truck after the mishap occurred.
