Daily COVID Caseload In Odisha Crosses 7K Again; TPR 11.38%
Bhubaneswar: After witnessing a consistent drop in daily COVID caseload for over five days, Odisha reported 7,426 fresh infections on Wednesday against 5,891, the previous day.
According to the I & PR department, 4306 are from quarantine and 3120 local contacts. Among them, 867 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 1,959 new cases, followed by Sundargarh at 778 and Cuttack at 548.

With these cases being detected from 65,250 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 11.38 per cent against 9.85 per cent the previous day when 59,807 samples were tested.
