Bhubaneswar: Cold conditions prevailed in parts of Odisha on Sunday night. Daringbadi and Phulbani were the coldest, recording night temperatures of 7 degrees Celsius, followed by Kirei and G Udayagiri, which recorded minimum temperatures of 7.5 degrees Celsius.
Other places which recorded night temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or less are Jharsuguda (9 degrees Celsius), Keonjhar (10), Sonepur (9), Bhawanipatna (9.4) and Similiguda (9.9).
Several districts recorded minimum temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.
But the regional meteorological centre here has forecast the night temperature to rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the next few days because of possibility of rain due to a Western Disturbance.
