Bhubaneswar: The one-day visit of Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to Odisha scheduled on Thursday is reported to have been cancelled without citing any reason.
During the visit, Gadkari was scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 28 National Highway projects worth Rs 6,600 crore in the state.
Though the minister’s visit to the state has been cancelled, his office informed on X that Gadkari will inaugurate and lay the foundation of the projects at 12.30 pm via video-conferencing.

As per earlier schedule, Gadkari was scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar at around 11.00 am and also visit Puri to seek the blessings of the sibling deities at Jagannath Temple.
