‘Pray For Miracle’: Raju Srivastava Almost Brain Dead, Says Comedian’s Chief Advisor
New Delhi: Comedian Raju Srivastava’s condition seems to have worsened.
Raju had been put on ventilator at AIIMS Delhi, but was said to be stable after suffering a heart attack on August 10 while working out in the gym.
However, according to Raju’s chief advisor, doctors treating the comedian-actor said on Thursday that he is almost in a ‘brain dead’ condition.
“Today morning, doctors have informed that Raju’s brain is not working, almost in brain dead condition… Heart is also facing problems. We are all worried and everyone is praying. Even his family is unable to understand what’s happening,” Raju’s advisor Ajit Saxena told Aaj Tak.
He added that the entire team is praying for a miracle.

Fellow-comedian Sunil Pal also uploaded a video, updating Raju’s health condition.
In the viral video, an emotional Sunil states that Raju’s brain has stopped functioning and urges fans to pray hard for him.
Last Friday, Raju’s family released a statement urging followers not to believe in fake news and rumours after rumours of his death started doing the rounds.
The 58-year-old Raju has appeared in Bollywood films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya’. He is the chairman of Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
