Bhubaneswar: To facilitate essential safety-related modernisation works at Puri railway station, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced temporary regulation of certain train services from June 16-20.
“The temporary changes have been planned to ensure smooth execution of critical infrastructure upgradation works aimed at enhancing operational safety, improving passenger amenities and increasing overall efficiency at the state,” the release said.
>> Train No. 68450 Daspalla–Puri MEMU, Train No. 18401 Bangriposi–Puri Express and Train No. 18417 Puri–Gunupur Express will be short-terminated at Khurda Road from June 16-19.
>> Train No. 68449 Puri–Daspalla MEMU, Train No. 18402 Puri–Bangriposi Express and Train No. 18418 Gunupur–Puri Express will originate from Khurda Road instead of Puri during the same period.
.. Train No. 68404 Puri–Khurda Road MEMU will remain cancelled from June 16-19, while Train No. 68403 Khurda Road–Puri MEMU will remain cancelled from from June 17-20.
Passengers have been advised to take note of the above changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
