New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke is set to return to India and lead a planned protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, with preparations underway for a politically charged demonstration focused on alleged examination irregularities and demands for accountability in the education system.
Dipke, who has built a large online following through the digital-first political movement, is expected to land in India on Saturday before heading to Jantar Mantar for what he has described as a peaceful protest seeking action on issues including alleged NEET paper leaks and other exam-related concerns.
In the days leading up to his return, Dipke had initially called on supporters to gather at Delhi airport to receive him. However, the appeal was later withdrawn after the response exceeded expectations, with the group warning that large crowds could disrupt airport operations and cause inconvenience to passengers and security personnel.
According to earlier announcements, the protest at Jantar Mantar is being organised as a constitutional and peaceful demonstration aimed at pressing demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged lapses in NEET, CBSE, CUET, and SSC GD.
Dipke has framed the movement as a youth-driven response to what he calls systemic failures affecting millions of students. He has repeatedly urged supporters to participate in large numbers while maintaining that the protest will follow constitutional and lawful means.
The planned mobilisation has also drawn wider attention online, with allied groups and supporters discussing participation in the Delhi demonstration. Some political outfits have reportedly extended support to the protest, adding to its visibility ahead of the scheduled date.
The Cockroach Janta Party, which began as a satirical digital initiative, has rapidly evolved into a broader online political movement with a significant youth following, positioning itself around issues of unemployment, education reform, and institutional accountability.
