Bhubaneswar: The easy to book and low-cost bicycles for the public bicycle sharing (PBS) project have started arriving in the city.
At least 2,000 cycles from three companies will ensure a healthy alternative to the city residents and also a possible green mode of transport to visitors coming to the city, a BMC press release said.
The USP of these bikes is that they will be low-frame structures so that women wearing sarees can also ride them. Adjustable seat height will make the bikes easy to use by a majority of the age groups. The cycles will also be digitally mapped based on global positioning system (GPS) locations and will provide Mobile App based services to users to locate and use a bicycle.
