Berhampur: At least eight people were injured after an SUV carrying them crashed into a roadside house near Polasara in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
Sources said the mishap took place when the vehicle was returning from Puri with a family belonging to Jalakhai village under Buguda block in Ganjam district.

Locals said the driver lost control over the wheel causing the Bolero to crash into the roadside house.
All eight occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries. Local residents rushed them to a nearby health centre for treatment.
A police team from Polasara reached the spot and began an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the crash.
