Mumbai: In a major revelation, Mumbai Police suspect that the attacker who stabbed Saif Ali Khan had also conducted a recce of Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, ‘Mannat’, earlier this week, reported the India Today. A police team visited Shah Rukh Khan’s residence to probe into the matter.
Police sources claimed suspicious movement was seen near Shah Rukh Khan’s residence on January 14, reported India Today. According to the report, a person had tried to observe Mannat premises by placing a 6-8 feet long iron ladder at the rear end of the retreat house, which lies next to Mannat.
Police doubt that the person who conducted the recce could be the same intruder who attacked Saif. Reportedly, the CCTV footage gathered from Mannat shows that the person who did the recce resembled the physical stature of the person who appeared in the CCTV video obtained from Saif’s flat.
Sources also revealed that there were possibilities of involvement of more than one person. They said the iron ladder placed at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence is too heavy for a single person to carry.
But Shah Rukh has not filed any complaint with the police.
