New Delhi: Domestic flight operations in India will begin from Monday (May 25), informed Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday.
“Domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a calibrated manner from Monday 25th, May 2020. All airports and air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from 25th May,” he tweeted.
The SOPs for passenger movement are also being issued separately, he added.
Flight services were suspended since March 24 due to ongoing coronavirus crisis and nationwide lockdown.
However, cargo flights, those for medical evacuation and special flights to repatriate Indians stranded abroad have been operating amid the four phases of lockdown.
