Sachin Tendulkar Hospitalised After Testing COVID-19 Positive
Mumbai: Six days after testing positive for COVID-19, former India captain Sachin Tendulkar was hospitalised as a precautionary measure on Friday.
“Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone,” Tendulkar tweeted.

The 41-year-old had tweeted about contracting the infection on March 27 and was in home isolation ever since. The rest of his family had tested negative for the virus.

Sachin had led India Legends at the Road Safety World Series, which concluded on March 21.
